Pilot-project Four Sisters Farming Method: intercropping of maize, pole beans, soy beans, pumpkins (squash) and sunflowers to boost maize yields and add variety to local diets (2020-2021)

Access to safe drinking water
Aim Access to safe drinking water for all residents of Chitungulu. The newly drilled boreholes are maintained by the users out of annual user borehole fees

Solar lights
Aim To provide environmentally-friendly solar lights through subsidized sale (revolving fund) in order to enable work and study in the evening hours, and to improve safety in the dark hours
Results
Over 100 households have been provided with solar lights (2015-2022)
Chocha and Chilubezi Community Schools have been provided with a solar light system for their classrooms (2017)
