Aim: to raise awareness of the need for tree conservation in the face of climate change and deforestation in and around Chitungulu, to reduce fuel consumption, to increase local support for tree planting projects
Results- Planting of over 660 indigenous tree saplings and fruit trees between 2015-2019 in Chitungulu (especially on the school grounds of Chocha and Chilubezi primary schools and in and around the organic vegetable gardens)
- Tree nursery set up by the pupils of Chilubezi primary school (2020)
- Tree nursery and tree planting (2022-2023)
As from 2024- Continuation of planting of indigenous tree saplings in and around Chitungulu through the biodegradable foil method which makes use of dew to water the plant
- Promotion of fuel-economic cooking stoves
